My first decent ZBrush project:
Crits? I believe ZBrush may make my computer explode :D. I'm still learning about materials and it's really ticking me off haha. Any tips for making a good skin tone? I'm working on the eye right now too.

So, this is all I'm going to do to it. I'm getting kinda tired of playing around with this smelly cyclops.
I made the eye in like 5 seconds ... not super.
I'm having trouble making the skin look rough... any suggestions for future projects?
Another thing I was having a ton of trouble with was painting his lips-- I had the material on ZAdd and set to 0, but the painting would still be elevated off his face. Why did it do this? I believe I used the colorbump material for the flesh... does that have anything to do with it?
Anycrap, I just decided to take advantage of the stupid elevated thing it was doing and did a quick splash of gore on his face.
Looks stupid, but so does he haha.
Aaaaaand I'm done with this guy.
He's my first finished Zbrush project :D.
good attempt bro, you want to remember that you sculpt the life outta your mesh before you smooth it, so that by the time your mesh hits about 130K you have alot of promise showing. And that way you aren't looking at a model that is about 1.3 million faces and draining the life out of your computer. Under my tag is a link to my cgsociety portfolio, the main pic on there is what I'm talking about so that you can have a clearer idea on what do to.
Good Luck
