wonderful work marc!! cheers
Wow! The attention to detail is amazing!!! Very beautiful!
Thank you Dear Chums of The ZBrush Appreciation Society.
A growth mindset will keep you in eternal Spring even when in the Winter of your life :-) .
The face in the foreground - my Grandmother. The faces of the two ‘auld wifies’ in the background have what we call in Scotland “faces like burst neeps’” (turnips). An expression born from too much church and not enough philosophy of the darkness within themselves. Today righteous judgement I guess can be born from too much of any kind of indoctrinated thought and truly at present we are awash with it
As artists we can all suffer from from too much measuring, too much judgement - it stops us from seeing and it stops us from being honest. What makes art interesting I think is not how long it takes but whether it expresses anything at all.
Yours etc,
Boozy
Your works are really artistic. It has the sense of a painter named Fernando Botero. Keep going!
Her Sweet Lovin’ Beau as viewed through her Father’s eyes.
As you might see - my anatomy studies have not been wasted :-)
First began as a voxel sketch in the days before dynamesh - revisited and finalised in ZBrush, Sculptris Pro and Keyshot.
Three posts in one week necessitates that Old Boozy takes a break.
Your Zombishly in a rub-a-dub style,

P.S
Thank you Steven for your previous comment :-) .
Just browsed through all your recent posts that I missed out on, the sense of humor you put into your art is precious!
Thank you for sharing Boozy! ^-^
Thank you Sudhan :-).
I set myself a little challenge to sketch one 2.5D piece a night for two nights in the spirit of having no idea what I might do before I began nor what I was doing whilst I was doing it :-) - what a surrealist might refer to as technical hysteria (the surrealists loved hysteria) but what us ordinary folk might call being in the moment.

Love it, as usual. I like the grunginess and feeling of spontaneity in the last experiments.
Thank you M7 :D
Sketch 2 is great.
I like how parts kind of emerge from the main tree shape.
They seem to become alive.
And more.
Cool and, again, a little psychedelic.
In one word: magical.
Thank you Jochen much appreciated. I think my eyes are still swirling after creating that last piece :-)
I shall be taking a break for a little while but hope to be back and posting with more sketches when refreshed.
Best wishes,
Boozy.
Equally - as above so below.
Supposedly on a break from working :-) I found myself niggled by musings of how to connect and translate the means of achieving the more painterly feeling of my 2.5D work within that of 3D and Keyshot. A direction of travel I hope to pick up more in future posts.
Yours, ever the ZBrush recidivist,
Sabbatical Boozy xxx
Wow, this is my instant favorite from your recent repertoire. The painterly feel is definitely successful. It looks like a piece of medieval fine art.
