This idea came to me when I saw the picture "Pale Night" of Paolo Giandoso.

happy new year tm! i wish you many maany happy creative hours...
what a great piece to start of the new sculpting year :-) ... i love the sculpting, the cloth is breathtaking and how it hide/reveals the forms underneath.., the female forms wonderful, though these seem not to be under the influence of gravity... meaning the breasts would lie down on the sides, at least a little, even in very firm ones ;-) ... and, a tiny thing, the anatomy of the ear is not well done yet, your sculpt shows it flat, it is however a bowl shape with a curvy rim. not that it is important for this piece, but its a detail my eye catched ..i will watch this piece with great pleasure...
Happy New Year dear Doris! I wish you all the best for this year!
At first:
Aphrodite manipulate gravity, she is a goddess! :D
But seriously: You're right! Breasts and the ear still need tuning.....

i was so busy meeting a deadline and really missed following your project along.
the result is wonderful, tm. really love your venus. the sculpting is so great, even without the colors the whole speaks and has a great composition. the symbols are carefully chosen and placed.
now the colors push it one step up, love how you used mainly monochromatic, from the marble, and put in color only to guide the eye strongly. very well done :-)
Thank you Doris! You know that means a lot to me!
A new scene....................an ancient artifact on the moon. I am fascinated by the deep rilles on the lunar surface. For example: Vallis Schröteri (Schroter's Valley)
The rille may be up to 400 m deep.
In the foreground, I plan an astronaut with a view from behind.
