Hi folks. I've been working on some custom 3D Printed Wacom pen holders over several months.
Sculpted in ZBrush and printed on a Flashforge Dreamer.
Its been a labour of love. Plenty of prototyping, failure and eventually successes.
Its been fun.
Here is the first in the collection.
Video breakdowns will follow in good time.
If anyone would like to keep up on the development of these holders you can follow my Facebook Art page for more details and photography at https://www.facebook.com/GeekblivionArt/
Whilst working on video games for over a decade I have a strong interest in transitioning towards the Toy, Action Figure industries.

Video Breakdown of custom 3D Printed Wacom Pen Holder
Hi folks, here is the first of the video breakdowns for these Wacom pen holders.
Hope they entertain and help someone.
This was the second pen holder I sculpted.
Each sculpture is designed to print from an extruder based 3D printer without any supports.
Supports often leave marks where they are removed, and I wanted a hassle free and clean solution.
Each print can take between 4.5 and 6hrs with just the correct amount of infill. https://www.facebook.com/GeekblivionArt/

3D Printed Custom Wacom Pen Holders continued....part 3
This was the 3rd in my series of pen holders.
I loved the ideas that the pen could act as the hilt of the mallet or any weaponry with a long hilt.
Like all the above it took a bit of time to reach the right scale of hammer and hole for the pen.
You would also be amazed at what it takes to get a pen to rest centred to the opening of the hole at that angle without resting on the side of the hole by gravity.
A good bit of prototyping took place to land the right model. https://www.facebook.com/GeekblivionArt/ https://www.etsy.com/shop/Geekblivion?ref=hdr_shop_menu
That is awesome stuff! I love it, thanks so much for the workflow insight. I have just become interested in 3d printed so this is perfect timing. The sculpts are beautiful! I can't wait to see what you come up with for King Kong, hint hint.
