Surprised myself... Crits / Comments ?
Your shadows are way to harsh for the lighting situation in that room. You should play with the BPR shadow settings in the render menue.
:tu::tu: as stone3d said try to match the subtle shadow angle- blur and opacity under the picture frames - maybe dim lights a bit !!
Hi Deke :)....Hey, I was going to suggest the same thing about the shadows the other day, but it looks like a couple of people have beaten me to it..:D

Above is a link to a tutorial that someone posted in someone elses thread the other day..It really helped me figure out how some of those BPR settings actually work..Check it out,..I think it will make things alot clearer and more enjoyable for you in the shadow department..I know it did for me.:)
Enjoy :tu:

Dragon Hovering over Flowers......
orig came from p12 ....... :)
Hi Deke
Hey...Excellent job on this last one posted..Great image..Luv the shadow you got behind the dragon..really makes him pop, and fit into the scene...Also really like the piece of flowered and planted lanscape in the left corner..enhances the composition ninely, without distracting from the main character and action in the scene..great use of lighting..and GREAT progress also...LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE..Thumbs up man.
Glenn
Just an evening doodle for your amusement.....I hope you get a yuk yuk out of it......... Deke :)
This little artifact is joint effort of wings and zbrush.......
zbrush and Photo Shop......
Hya Blue!
How are you doing these things?????
That Wings thing is driving me nuts and the background for the dragon is too. Maybe I need to learn Wings but I have managed to fail to do that for ages so why stop now right?
Also how are you getting things into photographs? I tried that once and it sort of worked but I cant seem to do it again.
Are the photographs those hdri things?
If so did you take them your self?
I want to know stuff!!!!
hehehe!!!
Cheers!
Mealea
Hi Mealea... Well 1st you need the experimental version of wings http://s331378245.onlinehome.us/manifoldlab_releases/ found at this link..
Then find torus Knot and tilt polys in" lots more" catagory... every thing else is extrusions .. the mapping is done in Zbrush with light caps...
