@ Nebular
Good idea about using Decimation Master, but I was just pushing Zbrush to its usable limits for my own curiosity.....
Yes I could have made the columns with less regularity, but I made them this way on purpose to focus on the solidity and strength of the Alter/Temple.....
But, I appreciate the critique and will keep it in mind for next evolution. Certainly I will have to do some practice with D.M.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my little ideas... Deke :)

Hi,
interesting works so far! I have to agree with what has been said earlier, it is a bit repetitive. But why not try to move and rotate each dragon a little so they are not aligned the same way, even if you use the same model (or make slight alterations to it) it will give the impressions of the colums to be less alike.
Sinc eyou said youre nto too happy with the background. I think the biggest problem you have is color composition. Both, landscape and temple are almost the same colors and very highly detailed with high contrasts.
To bring out the temple and have the landscape serve as a background you can try desaturating the landscape, blurring it out more and tinting it in a different color so foreground and background don't share the same color pallet anymore.
If you want to make the temple the main topic of the image you might also want to crop out a bit of the background, for example the sky competes with the temple and distracts teh viewer.
Also check you image as a greyscale to see if the temple stands out value wise. If not, make the background darker or the temple lighter and have more contrast in the temple and the background more muted.
I hope this can be of help!

Hi BlueFerret. Yet, another AWSOME image. When I was a kid, my father took me to watch some men (artists) blowing hot glass, and this image so reminds me of some of the work they were doing, and reminds me of a great time in my young life... thanks for the memories and please never stop doing what you love doing my friend.-;)
