After years producing very little personal work, I've got the bug back a few months ago and decided to dedicate some time to myself now that the kids are a little bigger. I will post a batch of...

I think this is an amazing feature and I was already happy with QRemesher!
I had a recurrent, kinda major, problem with QRemesher that I thought was solved with ZRemesher, but testing it at home...
It was a great pleasure following your progress during the workshop. This piece turned out beautiful and the amount of time and dedication you put in this model really shows! (do I really need to...
Getting better and better every time I look at it!
This was a great choice for your class project. Surely a work of love, as I told you many times during the class!

Both models were created in Maya, sculpted and painted in ZBrush and rendered in VRay.
Old model, based on Carlos Huante's sculpt, new render. VRay really kicks ass when it comes to sss and fast...
Thanks! The hair was completely created/styled in ZBrush, exported as curves, Maya hair was assigned to the curves and VRay was used to render them.

Max, ha! I love South Park :D
Ok, unrelated stuff, but since this is my sketchbook where everything goes, here's a link to the new "The Avengers" movie.
They are showing the creature I modeled...
Just a few tweaks for tonight. Clothes are just a sketch. Hair needs a lot of love. Lots of work left, etc.

Thank you guys!
About the SSS, hair, exagerated dof, this is far from perfect because it's a wip and even the final version will not look perfect anyway. I'm more interested on the impression of...
Thank you for all your comments guys.
I worked on a lot of aspects of it over the weekend, aiming to a more natural approach. Hair and everything else is pretty much in progress (I'll add other...
Yep, it gets really heavy actually. Still not awful (about 30 minutes for a 1024x768... before it was about 14 minutes). But my machine is not that fast right now. It's a dual xeon about 6 year old....
