To be honest, that looks like reese witherspoon in her mid 40’s.
You haven’t captured the smooth youthful fullness of an adolescent.

Pretty slack not to give credit to original concept artist. I like your work but the concept holds more character. I'm mystified by the origins of the sorcerer in tbe concept due to his otherwordly...
Due to the absence of color the cowboy sculpt looks like Mathew Mcconaughey's character from Dallas Buyers club.
Thats great, Dennis. You beat me to it! :tu: With my turtles, I'll be aiming at the movie-like chubby cheeks rather than the rounded form in the early comics.
Heres a great shading and rendering...
In reply to Mark Soon from TB:
We get seams in Unreal 3 all the time. At the moment we dont know of any other method other than hiding them in less obvious areas as Sebcesoir suggested.

Because when your working with a budget of polygons for a low poly model adding 6 rows of polygons may be too much.
The purpose of the excersize as I understood it was to add one extra row of...
Actually, a 5 sided polygon is better than a single triangle. It smooths accurately when subdivided, wheras a triangle produces pinching.

good work mate. Looks like a younge Steven Speilberg. :tu: Tops!
Fantastic Maddam.
I love that type of creature look. Very farscape or stargate orientated.
Might I suggest clamping in the symmetry a tad and removing the symmetry ultimately. Such a great...
supurb workflow Myth. I applaud those two devils. Very unique. Very inspiring.
Cheers to you.
Fantastic work mate. One thing that's missing in your space monkey rendering is the e in 'primate'.
But it's a fantastic design. Love your work.

With the hair, Ripper, turn on self shadowing. That will vastly increase the realism of the hairs poking out of the skin rather than sitting on the top. It will also give the hair depth.

Without nit picking, I beleive Ben's jaw needs to be more delicate and narrower. Currently it seems too long and meaty.
Especially in comparison to the reference Darkshift posted.
Otherwise,...
In rawkstar's case I guess you would. However remember that he only zbrushed two elements from the max scene.
In 3d Studio Max you can choose element mode. Something Maya severely lacks and...
Sure. I'd figured thats what you may have done. With the latest character I have gone the seperate elements approach. Having sepperated my geometry actually proves beneficial when it comes to...
Just out of curiosity, rawkstar, if your High Poly Necromancer was over 2 million polys how on earth did you manage to projection map and render to texture in 3ds Max without the memory drying up...
Fantastic work kissb however I feel that the skin on his arm needs a little more reflectivity and shine. The skin on the face is superb but depending on where it's playing cards the goblin could have...
Helloooo!
We really need displacement mapping projection feature for ZMapper!
Need to displace an unwrapped/rigged arbitrary mesh in 3ds Max for use with muscle dynamics in cinematic...
Bimm, I think you missread the bleeding obvious.
Voodoo Monkey as most of the users on this forum are quite just in expressing their opinions and re-explaining them for others.
"There's no...
Alan I am quite impressed with your interpritation. Jordu's work shines in everyway through your fantastic version.
If I were a betting man, I'd say that Jordu would be in favor of that snot...
haha! i'll take that as a compliment. :D
Beers,
Paul.
Again, fantastic work jonkajtys. :tu: Your simple test inspired me to take an early lunch break from the cgi department here and add some sound to your animation. I just had to hear this thing...
Why on earth can't I delete my own posts!! Anyone care to explain?
Who said hes evil? I feel a great pity for this poor restrained beast. Why is he restrained? Where is he from? Is he a he?
Those are some of the questions I dare to imagine.
Keep up the...
Dear Fausto, I beleive I initially took the time to offer those constructive crits and bring this feedback to light. Did you read the second part of my previous post?
