As with ZBrush, Pixologic only discusses future development when they are ready to, not before, or in some forum thread asking for it.

I belive you can only create a vector displacement map for exporting out of ZBrush, not actually use one inside ZBrush
Pixologic are on the west coast of USA so it's still the middle of the night there.They have sometimes released updates right at the end of their day so could be tomorrow before you get an email
As far as I am aware, the trial version does not get neccesarily get updated with a new release (I think it is still just the original zbrush 4) so I'd think you would only get 30 days total.
There is a free 30 day trial of zbrush and it can import any models you have already made in sculptris so you can try out its polypainting tools.
