Thanks Andre, but I tried that earlier and for some reason the entire model gets optimized even if a small area is masked... Then I lose all the detail no matter what the optimize slider is set to......
I'm working on a model and I'm up to 309,000 polys... I'm about half way finished with it and afraid I'm reaching my poly limit... Is there any way I can reduce the polys in certain areas by masking...
Zspheres are definately the way to go when creating roots of trees... Especially buttress type roots... It can be done other ways, but I found using zspheres is the quickest and easiest way... I did...
Great modeling and composition... I really like the wheat in the foreground, gives the pic a lot of depth... I see he's sportin' a farmers tan too :)... Good luck with your entry.
You have quite an imagination popping out a few of these creatures a day... I'm lucky if I get out one a week :).. Nice job.

This is a quicky "blob" I made... Not sure if I understand completely what you're looking for, but is the image below similar to it? I created the two outer images on the same layer, then turned off...

I havent done many full bodies so I figured Id practice... Might add a bg later.. A lot of great models at ZBC...
Im left handed... I do everything with my left hand... Except I use the mouse in my right hand probably 70% of the time to draw my ZBrush stuff... The pad is on the right side, and I just grew...

You need to turn off the Flatten Layers icon in the render palette.

That is an interesting approach to modeling a head... Ive seen other programs use the same method, but how do you do it with ZBrush? Do you adjust the transparency of the material so you can see...
