One of the best 1st posts ever on ZBC. Great Job!
I recommend you go down a few subdivision levels and work on the proportions of the body before going to the detailing stage. Good modeling/sculpting takes a long time. When you're learning you...
This should definitely be a top row thread. There aren't a lot of people showing off this side of Zbrush. Great work, I hope you sell a lot of them.
I didn't get one. I'm on a mac though so it might be different. Or, maybe you got a trojan from a different window that was open.
Nice work as always Nick. Can't wait to see the final texturing...
ahh yes... You know what? I knew this. I had forgotten about it, because I never used it. Thanks, for the refresher.
Hmm... mudbox lets you do that? Looks like I need to check out mudbox, which I've been meaning to do for awhile. I'm not saying Z3 can't do it, I just don't know how to. If you post this question...
Teyon: I did not paint the texture on the model. I painted a texture map in photoshop to bring out the details. I don't think z3 can paint symmetrical texture unles the model is symmetrical. I'm...
Yeah he is a good artist. If you are referring to the alien character, I made that around the same time as Nick. Seemed telepathy was involved, however his is better than mine. I would like to...
Figured I'd reply again considering I haven't since the first post. The proportions still need a lot of tweaking. Unfortunately you went ahead and modeled clothes already.
His abdomen needs to...
when it comes to making eyelids, use masks to model. And inorder to get eyeballs in your model in Z2, you're going to have to use Multi-marker. If you do a forum browse you can find info on it.
Thanks Scott. I'm currently about to texture an Alien so this will work out perfect.
Here is some better texture work on this head I've come back to since Z2. Also I created a better light and material to go for a more realistic look.

^ okay you can get off your high horse now. You're being way too uptight.
Great poses. I really like the strong pose of the dominant centaur. However, he could use more sculpting in the abdomen area. Also more details in the face and a define cheekbone would be good...
I'm going to put more detail in the forearms. I really not trying to go for the ripped muscle look. I'm just trying to give him a smooth toned body.
Thank you for the hair tutorial very much. That will definitely come in handy. I've always learned a lot for your great tutorials.
Nice job. Looks really good, with a vast amount of detail. You may run into a harder time posing or animating this character with all that inflated geometry. Good luck.
Well I finally got around to modeling the body today for the alien guy. I decided to do it with zspheres. I have never modeled with the zspheres before. Try not to laugh at my first attempt.;)

I always say this to these threads. MAKE YOUR OWN. You'll have more control over your mesh, and be able to make better topology. Also you aren't really learning how to model by using other peoples...
so right now as I see it. You have 3 strong pieces. The 350z and environment, the temple, and 3 flaps provided it gets a little more detailing and some good texturing. Everything else you have in...
It would probably be easiest to model it in Maya, or 3ds Max. Then just import it as a subtool and detail it in Zbrush.
The frog needs to be reposed. He looks really uncomfortable in that postion. Unless he's going #2, then it's ok.
I too would like to see a 3/4 view.
I love the Frulk. Great concept. However, the skin tone is too flat. There needs to be some variance of color to give it that realistic cartoony look. Maybe sone scattered spot on the back of Frulk.
make your own base mesh. If you can model details, then you should be able to model basic human form. It more rewarding anyway to know that you modeled something for scratch.
Also if you ever...
