Love it !!!
I don't suppose you could share some 3D renders aswell? Both colored and grey material?
Or is this a 3D render? If so, wow, I thought it was a 3D print.
A few more recent finished 3D illustration projects for print ads. All modeled in Zbrush and rendered in keyshot. The potato's scene was created in 3ds Max:

Wow amazing work!
Those flames and the entire forground/background are a composition of edited images I found on google. The entire workfile consists of around a hundred layers, so that wouldn't be practical. I just...
Thanks man :) Glad you like it.
Oh that would be awesome if Keyshot had flames and other effects by default :)
But no, they were added afterwards in Photoshop. The final render came out of...
3D logo design for my Star Citizen fleet squadron. Personal project.
My first attempt at Keyshot. Rather pleased with how it turned out :) Lovely tool. Model created in Zbrush, rendering in...
Just read about that... We've lost one of the weirdest artistic geniuses.
I bet he'd be flattered skilled artists like yourself keep his style alive and even improve on it. Just looking through this...

Thanks man :)

And here's something new for the christmas holidays :) A nice excuse to do some 3D illustration experiments, and try out the Zbrush to 3dsmax pipeline some more. Everything sculpted in Zbrush, final...
Worked a bit more on the rider that's going to be on the bug I posted earlier. Work in progress.

Thanks Tyrell :)
Here's something more recent. Really had fun making this. It's a fully functional crossbow design I made that was intended to become a 3D print. Sadly Shapeways (3d printing...
Been a while since I posted here, but here's a small update :)
Rebuilt that bug model a couple of times. Finally got it in the direction I wanted, and am now working on the rest of the scene.

A while back there was a useful plugin called Material Baker (up to v2 last time I checked) that obviously let you bake in your material to a diffuse map. This was awesome when exporting to 3ds max...
The sheer quantity of amazing work is mind-boggling. I think my brain just melted.
holy f*cking crap, this is awesome! fantastic job!
Amazing. Can't wait to get started, although I've still got to watch a Zbrush 4 training dvd first. I hope by that time there will be some good dynamesh tutorials out, because that seems alot easier...
the amount of artistic freedom this provides is just insane. pixologic is gonna have a hard time topping this ;-)
