MapCap materials have the lighting information "baked"in , as you can see in the preview light-sphere ,there is no update - perhaps there is on the final version you are all using, i'm still working...

Do you have the "caps lock" active ...perhaps?
What happens if you have use "edit-Move" do you see the transpose controls : the three circles on the line ?

Remember this piece from the ZBrush movie...great image...did you render that number two in ZBrush 2 ?.....i ask this because of the small line artifact you can see in the render..i remember this...
