Beautiful work. Dangerous wardrobe. :D
The tree, vines and plants add a lot to this. Possibly the best wings ive ever seen out of zbrush.
I also really like the screencap with her angled...
Try dynamesh sculpting (clay buildup) without smoothing anything. Or at least only smoothing very little. It will force you to see the forms through your roughed up strokes and will keep you from...
Great composition!
When building a capable machine I would go over your intended goals as far as performance is concerned. Future proof your computer now and you wont have to spend more for years to come. My machine...
awesome
If your talking about visible light rays coming through the center of your ball, ive never been able to achieve that in bpr. c4d would be easy though. Dont know which version of c4d you have, and i...
Activating by phone (since my editing rig isn't online). Recording says "phone activation is not available at this time.... for all issues please submit a support ticket." I submitted a ticket but...
This is mind blowing. Just wow. I agree with the composition critiques though. Mind you, this piece is beyond my realm of ability so dont take it like im just trying to pick it apart, but the...
Very nice. I really like the edgy style. Aliasing looks pretty bad in spots and the gun could use a little extra time. Really cool looking style!
I think these works are amazing. Absolutely stunning. I also dont agree that scan data is cheating, but its not the same as starting from scratch either. Much the same way having the eye for being...
Shouldn't your eye and therefore the elements within the image move along the green line of the Divine Proportion diagram? My eye moves opposite of the diagram though your image. I think the...
Awesome information, thanks for doing this. Went through everything in your walkthrough and had beautiful results on your polypainted surface. Decided to try this on one of my own projects and took...
What might help you is to play with the draw distance relative to the photos your referencing. I use see through mode with zbrush running over top of PS for this. Tweak draw distance (in...
You did a great job on both of these. The hard surface looks really clean, and Koba looks awesome. Only thing that stands out to me is Koba's nostrils could be a little more open and his good eye...
Saw this and immediately thought of a friend of mine. Looks just like her, i mean literally exactly like her.
I use a 21ux. Upgraded from an intuos several years ago. Couldnt upgrade software packages for a while since i blew my budget on the cintiq but it was the best investment ive probably ever made. ...
Would be awesome to have the ability to group specific subtools together that would allow each subtool in that group to keep subd levels but get edited as a whole. Seems like this would also help...
Im pretty sure those modifiers are only for 2.5D brushes.
I hope for 64 bit. I also hope for new polypainting tools. It would be nice to change hue/saturation, brightness/contrast, selective color. etc... globally and in real time, not through render...
Im confused, why do you not like dynamesh?
I think you are doing a good job. One thing i notice is that your mesh is getting warped, as in your individual polygons are large and small and everything in between. Try dynamesh rather than...
If it's in symmetry in sculptris and you export as obj than you can put it back into symmetry once in zbrush. To import obj into zbrush go to the tool menu and click import.
@Mangres - Im not sure exactly what the situation with the matcaps and light caps is, but if you try to light matcap materials with lightcaps they turn black and theres no way I know of to fix it...
I really like playing with lighting in zbrush. Matcaps have lighting built in to them, so in order to get really cool lighting effects you have to use standard materials. Skinshade4 is a great one...
