I hope you post here often... I would love to see this peice finished and on the top row!
Congratulations!
I think when 2.5 was suggested everyone who uses Zbrush was surprised that such major improvements were not going to be a new version release. This makes excellent sense. It...
In my experience people who have a talent for drawing can learn to sculpt and people with a natural affinity for sculpture can be taught to draw.
The abilities a very different though. With...
hope so :tu:
I would love to know how far it can be pushed!
Can you project a sculpture of a figure made using one base mesh onto a completely different figure? Let's say you have made two men. The one with the bad edge flow you brought into zbrush and tuned...
I wasn't thinking dog! Just wondering how far "another model with completely different topology" could be taken. Very exciting!
Is this meant for adjustments to the base mesh (which is sweet enough in itself) or can you use the mesh from an entirely different model? - I'm thinking also of faces here. How accurately will the...
Anytime ;)
Intel Quad Cores? You're kidding! Hope I'm in a good position financially.
Gee Johnny, what are you the Forum police? I think YogiFish is asking in the right place. This is all about the new ZBrush. So will they be releasing an intel version? By guessing wildly I would have...
I know what you are saying Ctrl-Z, but these new features are really good for those of us who like to sculpt in 3D. I am really pleased that we will have the option of having more than one object...
Wish I was there.
I knew you guys were up to something, but once again it is something better than I could have imagined! Thank you.
Coming from you cy that's a huge compliment. You're one of the few unbiased fans.
Ha! Clicked in through my email and didn't realize there was an entire newer page of comments! Sorry for being out of date!
I agree with cy here Antimorph.
If Zbrush were a so..so program, we wouldn't be so eager, we'd say "Oh great another update and six months before they fix the bugs."
We know the standards...
Looks Gorgeous! I am loking forward to the mac release! :D
I don't know that zbrush has considered this yet and as we have just raised it (or more accurately as Joe Goss has just raised it) I don't think Pixologic has been given the chance to 'ignore' it. ...
Looking at the first link it does look like there is a triangular mesh - just that you are sculpting displacement onto it - sort of like you can with zbrush. Since I really like the control we over...
Actually, It would be much much easier to use in zbrush - when the price drops hopefully there could be support for this tool? Maybe? Please? It would be much better to just use it natively!
Does it produce something you could import into silo for use with thier topology brush?
That is a great idea and if polygons aren't going anywhere soon - no matter zbrush will be able to handle enough of them that detail and displacement maps will work very well.
I sculpt (with...
I like your fuzzy cromagnon especially! Might want to make the nose more bulbous. Like the eyes.
I missed it too. This is Great. Should be featured up top!
Personally I am grateful that they code the Mac software themselves. Zbrush is the most reliable modeler I use by far - lightwave - silo etc. have their uses, but crash often on me. The standards...
