I work in scientific illustration, and really appreciate seeing these sorts of things. Really nice work my friend. Are you going to work these in with some colour and produce a realism render?

Peter its great to see you've hit the top row. I don't think anyone can imagine the amount of creatures you've created and had published, as its probably somewhere in the many hundreds. Well done for...
In order to take a shader style into a texture map you need to UV the model and produce a displacement map. Then apply your shader and the displacement map to a relevant polygon level square/3d plane...
......crawly! These are looking great, I like them a lot and am looking forward to seeing them hairy. They look like science/nature illustrations. Good job.

Thanks for this up and coming update, as I am very grateful indeed :-). Zbrush has got so many many functions now that I think the possibilities have by far exceeded my imagination and the boundaries...
This is such a believable face to look at, and a great example of spot on texturing and modeling finished with some well mastered rendering. Thanks for sharing this work as its a favorite of mine for...
This is an awesome artwork and so great to see a big juicy render of it on here. I would love to have been shown this years back and be told this is what gets produced in Zbrush in the future, even...
I used to do a bit of product design and hard surface work a long long time ago and well I just love seeing this sort of thing pop up in ZBrush. Congrats on a successful production path as the end...
This is a great and inspirational thread, and so its saved into my 'EpicThreads' bookmarks as somewhere to come for great information on technique. Thanks for sharing.

@Spaceman: Thanks, I did have apply with transparency within ZBrush but the shadows are cast as if no transparency and so it does work ideal, although I realise this is fine for taing into other...

I have attached a link to download the ZBrush File for the image below if anyone is interested. The Subtools are saved as 'PV' and finals, The PV are the previews for the fibers for each element, and...

This is a mixed example of uses for the FiberMesh utility. All the elements that you see apart from the flowers are simple 'accepted' FiberMesh states as subtools. Each one has been controlled mostly...

This is a great sculpt and there is something about the look he is giving that almost sends shivers down my spine, I think its the way the eyes are aligned, great job and the wrinkles around the eyes...
I really like the Albein character and the amount of expression your getting out of his face. Brilliant eyes by the way and a great start to your Sketchbook.

Langelot: I just discovered that from reading the PDF, and your right it works really well.
I modified the settings to get better shape and size leaves, and only used the top few side branches to...
SEGAHOLIC: Thanks, I look forward to it too :-), this is a very exciting tool indeed.
aurick: Oh yes I remember it all very clearly as I was going through lots of my old ZBrush work last week and...
I am so impressed with the new FiberMesh. It is so versatile its bowled me over!! I have used it here to add small branches to the top of the tree, and then applied the FiberMesh to those small...
Well done Chris and it clearly deserved Top Row. The tutorial on how you made it is very clear, useful and inspiring for sure, as such an amount of useful production tips within it. I certainly feel...
Your sculpt is very beautiful, primarily because of how amazingly accurate the underlying anatomy is. I love the way you have pulled just the right amount of skeletal structure through, just enough...
