Christmas came early!
Great work as usual (the Ruger) and thanks for the Matcaps.
Don't ya just love the live Booleans?! Ever since first using a variation of them in GroBoto I have been waiting for Pixologic to...
Yes, I can confirm it does work with 4R7. I had no problems installing.
Gorgeous job on the skull ring...
Amazing work.
Love that extra level of detail on the bottom!
Awesome. Always enjoying looking over your workflow and use of ZB.
Another visual delight...
Boozy, you have once again outdone yourself with your voluminous explanation. I'm sure you went back to the kitchen to get more shortbread fingers during that time! Some excellent tips there that I...
Great, as usual, Boozy. I'm actually putting the finishing touches to my own 2.5D piece, but man has it been a tough slog. Layers have been driving me crazy. I'll take your latest piece as an...
That's a "speed" sculpt?! I think I'm just going to give up now...
Frenchy Pilou: "I am anxious for the....baby! :D
Haha, it wasn't until I looked at it a second time that I saw: Pine(cone)&Apple and Pineapple! Subtle, Boozy, subtle...
Boozy: "Goodness me , I've written a cup of tea and two biscuits worth with that blurb."
I think probably a POT of tea and a biscuit tin's worth is more like it! Thanks, I'm going to have to go...
Looks like just the perfect little plug-in for me! All my ring designs have to first be made in another 3D prog and then imported into ZB. No longer! Will definitely be buying.
So the young-uns are still wearing their pants in that stupid fashion even in the future, eh? Disappointing..... ;) But truly excellent work.
Another great one. Damn, you make this look so easy, but I have (and still am) experimented with 2.5D and I'm finding it very frustrating with getting my different elements positioned properly,...
Yet another image that reminds me I HAVE to try the 2.5D aspect of ZBrush a lot more... When you say "across five layers" I assume you mean five layers of depth in the image rather than "Layers" in...
I agree with Taron. Always a pleasure to see your work.
No problem, Chris. I think you'll find that most peoples workflow with the zmodeler is to use it to create the base mesh. I suppose you could also create a new tool using zmodeler and "add" that part...
Chris, so if I'm still not understanding you I apologise. You have a low poly model and want to use your brushes on it but they are not responding the same way as a Dynameshed model, correct? If so,...
Chris, not sure if I can help since I'm not an expert, but using Zmodeler brush on anything other than a very low-poly model is not really recommended. You are, after all, manipulating individual...
Um, "I've fallen and can't get up!". So. Much. Modeling...
Absolutely stunning work. As at least one other person said: A work of art. And an easy to spot tribute to Boris and Julie's paintings.
Thanks @nickz for the new link, and @M4T30.8 for the matcaps (if you're still around).
As though lit by the flashlight duct-taped to my shotgun ! Excellent.
