About time for an update on this for those interested parties out there...
This is the composite of the 'combatants', next comes a drunk 'Gnomette Bimbo' with barstool...;)
...
Don't make the mesh right away, and preview constantly with the 'A' key, so you can see the creases as they develope. Usually, moving a ZSphere will straighten the mesh, and you always have undo...
...
Welcome S/G...
A suggestion? This sort of thing can be much easier accomplished with ZSphere construction, rather than using multimarkers, and you should check those out. Not only will it...
Unless you were born before 1947 I would... ;)
:D :D :D :D
I guess you told me!
:D :D :D :D
But I bet my eyes are older than yours...
Thanx Man, and I sent the material and lights to you.
:) It's supposed to be flat, Dude...;)
Trust me, I know 3D, being a stone carver, and ZBrush is a paint program to me, and this is an image... There is an illusion that it does 3D, but unless you...
It is always a good idea to stretch your boundaries, Toots...;)
For one who doesn't like the macabre, you managed a very emotive expression on this guy...:tu:  :tu:
And the lighting is...
Thanx to those who were interested enough to reply, and greetings in particular to my old friend Massimo...:D
Great to see you're still out there Maestro!
(And just for fun, here's a...
All except for the gradient fill done in Z2...
If anyone wants the material/lighting combo, email me, and I hope you enjoy something a little different from the Ole Stonecutter....
;)
Ah Aminuts, you remember...
And just because nobody seems to be posting anything here, and just for fun, here's something extremely silly...

I have NO idea where this came from...
People who know me know I don't do 'Monster' type deals, but I was thinking of Ron, my old Redneck buddy, and did this for him...
Right from a basic ZSphere...
Well, here's 'Lana'...;)
As one born in the 1940's, I well remember these sorts of 'pinups', which made trips to the barbershop or garage so exciting, and I wanted to recreate that feel here......
With apologies to the 'Monster Fans', I will post my entry... ;)
I don't usually participate in these, but I think this is actually a 'Challenge' that I might enjoy, so here is a stage 1 test...
First, very nice modelling... :tu:
Secondly, if you are doing an animation, than you have a lot to consider, but if you are doing a 2D piece, render, then import the render as a texture into...
Nice one Toots... ;)
I also liked the names you came up with for the models...
(So, when do we see the rest of the models? :D )
A nice compositing job as well, Doris.
:tu: :) ...
Aminuts: The only place there are textures and/or alphas, are in the fog channel...
The lighting is actually a relatively simple 4 light setup I use, which I can modify slightly, but get a lot of...
I posted a hat on my 'Stonecutters Experiment' thread, done with ZSpheres...
I think if you check that, you will see it's a very easy, (and flexible), method to produce ANY kind of hat... ;)
Thanks for the comments of those who were interested...
The lines on the hat come from the Alpha used in the fog, and in fact the 'experiment' here was to do a dramatic lighting, desaturate...
This is the result of a 'side-trip while working on another piece...
It uses one model, some trick lighting and fog stuff, and the original is on the left.
The title indicates a little 're-visit'...
Thanx Guys... :D
Actually Dickie, I render the model, and paint on the render...So the unpainted one is a 'before', the other the 'after'...
Then any paint program can add the color, in ZBrush...
Thanks to all who enjoyed this...
And for you Dickie, here's the model before painting, fresh from the render...
...
This is the first character in a complete scene, named above...
I did the first Black And White complete scene here a long time ago, and this is going to be a complete scene with all the characters,...
Well, since in the past, I have bitched about all the 'monster' stuff, I would be a total hypocrite not to participate in this one... ;)
So...
Three portraits, done from one model, in three...
If you email me at:

I will be glad to help... ;)
