haven't gotten into HD geometry yet, but I'm sure I will in the future.
thanks for making the rendering part relatively painless, marcus_civis! :)
nice stuff, Smooth_Criminal.
my nitpicks would be his ass is kinda small (prolly be bigger having to heft
that upper body around) and the boot fronts either seem too cartoonish, or
maybe they're...
nice one...looks to be quite useful! :)
thanks for sharing it.
excellent work, Marcus!!!
I've now got my pen button mapped to 's'. It would be great if you could
find a way to emulate Silo's ability to scroll left-to-right for size and
up-and-down for...
funny idea...made me chuckle. :)
if you're up for a crit/suggestion, maybe put the gun in a shoulder harness
visible from an opened jacket and place a remote detonating device in his
hand...
One possible solution would be to get 1 eye (as it's own subtool) in the
location you want (maybe by tool->deformation->offset) then clone it,
append as another subtool (the clone), then mirror it...
Thanks for that script, Marcus.
There's great potential there, but it seems fussy at the moment...lots of
testing necessary to figure out fine control of the deformation or get a
precisely...
nice job, Psionic. :)
whether intentional or not, it's a nice feeling between the 'homemade'
screws (a DIY gun?) and the future-ish design.
and thanks for sharing a bit of the process.
...
I counter-voted you a 5*, since I can't see (get it?) how giving away your eyes for
the cause could be voted as 'terrible' with only 1*.
;)
this last one reminds me of D'Onofrio's job in 'Men in Black'...something
about the expression... :D
Interesting technique with the tweakin after some detailing (rather than a
block-in and then detailing). Thanks for showing it nickz. :)

very kind of you, Thomas...much appreciated. :)
guys...I definitely feel your pain.
My suggestion would be to email pixologic directly with your situation.
I received a confirmation email of successful pre-reg within the hour that...
Aeneas....no offense, but experiences vary.
Many have NOT received the link info yet and:
- It's 25 hours since they said there would be a 24 hour delay.
- This release date has been known...
Nemoid:
http://www.zbrush.info/wiki/index.php/Activation
so now what?
It's been a full 24 hours past release date and still no email indicating
a download link... (got the congrats on pre-registering something like
40 minutes after this pre-register...
actually, it's a little after 1:00pm on the west coast of the USA (pacific time)
.......just under 11 hours to go until the typical Nth-hour *hopeful* release.
I don't know why I thought they...
that's one of the things I don't see to much raving about...how good ZB3 is
when dealing with other packages ( is displacement map creation enhanced
and 'easy' for Max-Maya-XSI-C4D? same with...
this last one's quite nice, monstermaker......kinda reminds me a bit of the
lighting in The Shining as we are taken thru the hedge-maze.
thanks for sharing. :)

Was hoping to see you guys here (tomorrow's the last day) at the GDC in
San Francisco...I guess you're too busy making sure to hit your May deadline. ;)
Would have loved to have left some drool...
good work, cgguru!
some crits:
you may want to check the proportions on the head/neck vs. body as
they seem just a bit too big.
also, the palm seems short in the last pic you showed and...
thanks for sharing this really handy detailing tip, mxhaunted!
was just cursing the overlap problem and scratching me noggin about
how to get around it...this tip was one I'd missed. :)
