Impressive!! The model, lighting and rendering is just great!
One day i might give modo a try, the renderer must be pretty good.
Looking forward to see your next work :)
Hi!
I decided to give it a try, to texture and render that guy.
I did some simple texturing and rendering tests in the past for other characters, but this is my first serious try to...
To Firebert: Yes You´re right that it was too early to critic the rendering, I think he is just experimenting with that. It was more a reaction to the posts of some people who said that this is the...
I really like the model, great work. Though I don´t think that the skin looks realistic. Way too waxy and too shiny. The coloring is too even ..it needs more variation. But I know how hard it is to...
Now, that is impressive. I know how hard it is to get a womans face looking beauty and to render it in a realistic way is even harder. You managed that so well, hats off. It´s much better than your...
Thanks
I have used masks to create those plates and the details on the flippers.
For the shell I have used a brush with some noise, mainly in layer mode and refined it with a very small brush...

Is there any way to multimark differnt objects with the same pivot point?
I have seperate 3 meshes, the head, the body and a hat. They all share the same pivot point, so all I have to do is to mark...
thx!

Long time no post from me.
This is the result from the last 2 evenings. Its not very detailed yet, I will save all the fine wrinkles and pores for the end. Also the beard is kinda rough at...
Great work.. really, great! I can feel the underlying bones under the skin.
The expression is very well done, slighty opened mouth, the opened eyes and the raised brows gives him a frightened...
This is with no doubt one of the best 3dworks I have EVER seen :D

DHARMAESTUDIO, I´m glad you like my version of your Alien, Would be great if you can send me some images of the original to mail. Your sculptures are just...
Great start! I really like your Alien.
Maybe smooth out that seam in the middle/line.
I´m sure this will look great when textured :)
Thank you guys,
It´s not meant to be finished or something. I might post more versions later.;)
