Lots of great info here, thanks mate.
Could definitely see that appearing in some sci-fi universe. Great sculpt.
If you texture him as well as you sculpted him I don't think you'll have any trouble getting top row.
Good hardsurface work but there is still a lot of room for improvement in the texture and detail pass.
It's old, grimy, and rusty but you're not selling it. Some key things are...
1. Lack of...
Nice sculpting and I love that you're going with an ork nob. If you're going to stay true to the source material though his top needs to be much larger than his bottom. Give him so bowed legs and...
Real nice start. Looks like you've only really placed all the straps/buckles/holsters and haven't detailed them out too much yet. Facial features are looking almost too crisp at the moment but that...
Thanks for posting the tutorial.
I think the fur could use more work. It's looking good, it just needs a little more finessing to produce a nice high quality result. It's the one thing detracting from the piece for me. That said it...
Overall pretty solid. Sword/hair need a lot of work and I think you need to put her arms in a different position. I'm really not sold on the pose unless your final has her actually reaching for...
Nice render. Really like your design on this one.
One of the nicer ecorshe sculpts I've seen. Good job.

He's got a point about the heals, especially on this piece. If you're going to make her a solider get her out of the bikini/high heels. If you're making her a female body...
You really should pose him. Good choice for a fibermesh test though.
Shouldn't he have a great-weapon if he's a slayer? :P
It looks great though, keep up the good work. Would love to see this guy textured.
His torso is way too small. Especially in the abdomen area, that could be made wider. His arms are also way too bulky for the rest of his body. Your guy looks like he should be some thin martial arts...
You've got the armor stuff down. I'd do a lot of anatomy studies now because it's not your strong suit.
I'm really liking this last one. Would love to see you push it further and get it textured and rendered.
Thanks a lot for the detailed reply. Looks like I'll be sticking with topogun for a while then lol. I'll give it a shot at some point. After all, there is never anything wrong with learning new...
Thanks for the tutorial.
@rv_el
I haven't gotten a chance to work with the graphite tools in max for resurfacing yet. What are the general problem areas that you have to pay attention to when working with it? For example...
Great work so far. You've gotten a lot done in not a lot of time, keep up the good work and make sure you finish strong!!
Thanks a lot for sharing. If anyone else on the environment team has some work you should pester them to post it. Your buddies over on the character side are going nuts with the amount they're...
I asked about their pipeline in a different thread and that artist at least used the graphite tools in 3ds for it.
edit: Thanks for the wires and the explanation of how you decide to break the...
Nice improvement. It feels like the wrist area could be built up a little more though.
Every day I come back to check the site and you guys post up even more art. You continue to impress. Thanks for sharing.
