But let me pick up a few points:

To call this clay model crude is more than modest.

Nice work again!:tu:
The only thing I have to say is about the hair, imho it appears to be too thin, especially the stubbles of the beard.

Here is an update.
I changed the texture of the bands; in the movie it is hard to recognize any pattern on the bands. But sometimes - aspecially in stills - you have to exagerrate...
Hi everyone out there,
here is a small sketch of a babyface based on a cute and funny photo I found on the internet coincidentally.
Not sure to continue with that model or not.

I was trying to keep close to his appearance in the movie, maybe in some scenes he looks ***8220;thinner***8221; or ***8220;stouter***8221; than in others. Here are some references...
Michael, thanks for your approval and comments.
Yes it was my intension to show him like he is with all his scars and so on, like in the movie all the places he lives in are old dirty and timeworn...
Hi everyone,
here is an update.
I switched back to mental ray again using the tony sculptor skin shader - which is a great enhancement.
Still got lots to tweak, not satisfied with the hair and...

Hi David,
it’s looking pretty scary, like a rotten Zombie.
If you want to render it, you can paint it first using the polypaint tools. Look up the ZClassroom for that.
There are many options to...
