Ya, if you could convince ID to do some 3d prints, I bet they'd sell well. I'd certainly buy a few!

I think the original doom characters had a bit of that toy vibe going for them, mostly due to the fact they were pixel art. So personally I'm happy with the direction these guys went, they managed to...
I remember seeing your drawings of these creatures years and years ago, and thought they were some of the most unique looking creatures I'd ever seen. Cool to see some of them make their way to 3D....
Thanks musashidan, glad you've found my tutorial helpful! You've done a great job on this piece, and even if the color choice was tough, at least for the character itself, I think you did a great...
Awesome modeling and texturing job! Its a small detail, but I might change those glowing green panels behind him and make the color a yellow, or make them less glowy, or a little of both. Right now,...
Very cool ape! I know its not the focus of the piece, but I think the branches on the base really need some tertiary sized branches, so its level of detail remains consistent. Otherwise fantastic!

Love all the wires on the back of the head :)

Great design, you have a nice balance of details, areas of visual details vs areas of visual rest.

Awesome design. The lack of chest is a really inventive idea.

Love him, especially, the coloring from pink/red to green. The chromatic aberration type look work well with him too.

Really like the lizard, he has a really good distribution of detail on him. And your clay render setup is sweet!

Love all the detail. One critique though is the detail is pretty evenly spread out everywhere, which makes the figure a little tough to read.
For your next figure, try clumping the detail in...
Looks great. How complex is it to assemble? Do parts snap together, or is there a lot of sanding and then gluing?

I like him, especiallly the veiny detail around the neck and on his back. Is that barniocles on his belly? Some more views, please!

An odd shaped creature I came up with sketching one day, basically a modified gecko wearing a metallic helmet with large horns. Used Brazil's skin shader for this one, and a number of new techniques...
