Thanks very much for the compliments (on both Cthulhu and my videos) and the input, Erik! I do plan on texturing him at some point as well but haven't had the time, sadly....I will though!

Here's my version of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu. I'd done it several months ago for a quick tutorial but couldn't post anything until it went 'live' and it has so here it is!
You ARE the best, Rick! (and you have the Oscars to back that up! LOL)
Just awesome!
This is a final pose I did for the Juggernaut Orc, since I was having so much fun posing him, and what should now be called "done"! LOL
(apologies to anyone who's tired of seeing him one more...
You're very welcome, Hermer! That's what we're all here for, right?! :)
Here's a shot of the mesh and how the mesh looked with me using the Autoweight Maxscript (the colour coded mesh, upper right). I then combined it with the biped and since the armour was supposed to...
Hermer, I actually use a very quick, easy (free) unwrapper called Roadkill and have used it in my pipeline for years. I can unwrap entire characters in just a few minutes so it's been one of those...
Thanks, Hermer! The pipeline was pretty simple:
1. modelled in 3DSMax (I wanted this as a low poly boss model that could be dropped into a game)
2. exported into Zbrush for next-gen detailing...
That's because it's the same one, Hermer! LOL I did the Orc Head and then the full Juggernaut body for the head for 3DMotive as part of their series...nice catch!
Thanks, Freewaldo!
Santis, many thanks....always love your stuff as well...!
I'm having fun posing the Juggernaut (again, cuz I'm not an animator) so here's another shot...more sedate and at...
Freewaldo, that you're now a fan is one of the nicest compliments I think I've ever gotten! Humble thanks and glad you like the Juggernaut!
TanTeck, thanks for the compliments and I see your point...
Thought I'd post the normals, greyscale w/normals and the lit render all from within Marmoset Toolbag....

Thanks, Ambient! The low-res model was 22,000 polygons. Generally, most characters I create are about 5-8K polys (for games) but I thought I'd splurge on this one because I wanted it for a boss...
Thanks very much for the great compliment, Haz3y! Originally, I'd thought it might be cool to have a great spiked club as the Juggernaut's other arm but then thought it might be just a bit too insane...
Thanks very much, Ambient! I actually built it as a game resolution model to then be next-gen detailed and polypainted in Zbrush. It was alot of fun to work on and I'd love to see it in-game myself!...
Been awhile since I've posted (work n all) but thought I'd upload what I'm calling a Juggernaut Orc.

It's the war of the Walts, Frank!
Outstanding as always!
Frank,
As always, superb attention to details and you bring life to a CG face....well done!
Stephen
Again, thanks for the very kind words, Jake!
Believe me, there are plenty of other guys out there that are doing supreme work...my focus for years has been in games and I'm just starting to do the...
Thanks VERY much for the awesome compliment!
I have a number of game characters at my website (which is linked at the bottom of each of my posts) if you'd like to see more.
Did a final render on my Rhino Bust (passes rendered via Zbrush, put together in Photoshop)....
Crits welcome!

Didn't have an hour or two (at lunch or otherwise) today so spent 20 minutes with Dynamesh and came up with this Skeksis from the Dark Crystal from memory. I went to too much details with Dynamesh (I...
Thanks very much, guys!! I'm pretty happy with the way the Rhino turned out although I wonder if I should try making a pose that's more 'action'.....
Here's some shots as the model would appear...
Ok, I think the Rhino's about as done as he's going to get and I have other work I have to start on so I'm calling this puppy done!
Crits welcome!302033
