Great progress Thanks for sharing. The Form2 output quality really is amazing. Do you have much experience with PLA printers?
Keep going, can't wait to see more.
These are some great prints, not easy to do. Really inspiring. The sculpts are also totally recognizable as well.
I saw this thread and thought "damn it, someone is ripping off Mike's style again!"
...then I check the signature.
NOPE. The master himself has appeared. Awesome as always.
Amazing! Well done.
That photo you linked to in Alien 3, she was wearing a head prosthetic due to re-shoots after the main shooting had finished, as her hair had grown back. Her head isn't that large! Great hair render.
Very cool work. Which company provided the scan data you're working with? Was it EA? Would love to see the RAW photogrammetry outputs.
Keep it up.
"Over the years I have tried about every method of posing (from rigging to transposing), and for me, nothing is faster and more flexible than posing up a "toy" version. I do this in Maya. We went...
Hi Will,
Many thanks for the reply. It was most interesting, we share a very common mind set here. It's great to see someone as talented as you so open about your methods. I agree whole heartedly....
You have god like powers. Really incredible work. Super inspiring to see. Such clean, precise work.
I would love to know what sort of access if any you have to scanned data? Does it play any role...
Don't stop :) Keep pushing. Really inspiring Luc, great to see you posting.
Very cool. Really like your style. Each sculpture has real personality.
"I'm unlikely going to be able to show you our entire workflow due to competitors unfortunately however I'm more then happy to try and give helpful tips where I can. "
You do realize you guys...
Understood, hope to see them soon !
And questions :) "It would be great to learn more about Octane Render's skin and hair shader. Also to see other lighting examples to see how the shader stands up?"
Very cool! The hair looks ace.

Fantastic. Best looking CG hair I've seen to date.
Master piece. Really stunning attention to details. :tu:
You sir have a gift and you use it well. Incredible work.
If Ridley Scott has any sense he will hire you to concept Prometheus 2, for the engineers home world. Giant structures like this. Black abyss with repeating patterns, a huge techno planet or gas...
Really inspiring work. The hair and cloth look fantastic. The final render looks great with everything tied together. Well done.
Fantastic work. Really inspiring :tu: looking forward to seeing a video.
It would be cool to see what you could do with the CryENGINE!
It's a known layer bug. It can be quite frustrating. Hopefully they will have a fix soon.
Really stunning work.
So cool. Initially I saw under tones of a future American Indian style? I wish you had chosen that path of style, as I don't think it has ever been done before. Maybe this guy needs a battle partner?...
