Yep. Drop-dead hilarious!
Great modeling, textures, lighting, posing - the whole ball of wax.
Excellent renders too, Caetano - my Modo 'brother'! :D
Congratulations!

Every single one a master work. This is pure genius, Oliver!
I love it all. Brilliant!
Looking good, Gary! :)
I'll be watching to see where you go with this!
I'm still trying to get a handle on ZModeler myself. Much to learn, and little time. So it goes.
You're a man after my own heart, Ralf!
I loves me some robot, too, and it's nice to find someone with an obvious knowledge of sci-fi films! :)
You forgot to mention Kinosheeta (my spelling)...
Nice work, Glenn!
I'm working on a futuristic cityscape night scene, but somewhat more 'traditional'.
Hope to have something to show pretty soon.
Time. Never enough of it.
:)
Just being silly, megacal. I'm good at that!
Seriously, it IS great work! :)
Yeah, tell me about it! ;)
Great scene, megacal! Loving it!
(And youz guys are WAY off. Clearly, they are harvesting meatballs just south of Mt. Vesuvius! I mean, who wouldn't?)
Thanks, Glenn! Downloading now!
You're a powerhouse, man! ;)
Thanks, megacal!
I'm thinking of buying that one Eat3D tutorial. Bookmarked the rest.
Found an interesting (and simple?) one on YouTube Hope to play with today.
Thanks, Glenn!
I may be interested in that first hard surface one!
And I've watched a lot of Pavlovich here, and on Youtube. They're free, so you can't complain - but there again another case...
Hey, gang!
Have you guys got any suggestions for good hard surface tutorials?
I've seen Pixoloator's stuff over the years - a fancy motorcycle, the Dragon Flyer, etc.,etc., but they're just all...
Crazy cool video and model, Glenn!
The difference now is, at least I have some slight idea of what you're doing! And I do mean 'slight'.
Noticed you using Spotlight quite a bit there, and I've...
@megacal
Drop me a line when you get the animation wrapped up, and we'll collaborate on the audio!
Not a problem! I can do some sfx, and maybe some music tracks. Who knows what evil lurks!?
@megacal
Nice animation, my friend! That thing is just crying out for some audio!
Hmmmmmm. I wonder who might be able to do something like that!? Maybe some guy with a big recording studio
and...
I didn't actually go from ZB to Modo. I was following Glenn's tutorial, outputs and all. And then wanted to import the .obj file and related maps generated in SP into Modo. Didn't work out so well,...
@megacal
The point of GoZ for me is, if I need a model at real world scale, obviously you can't do that in ZBrush alone. BUT, I can build the base mesh in Modo at the proper scale, and GoZ to ZB...
@Patpotlood…..
VERY nice work! Love the camera angle. Sweet! :)
Nice, Glenn!
You're having WAY too much fun, whereas I have chores to do! I'm retired, and STILL don't seem to have enough time to do things I wanna. What's up wit' dat!?
AFTER I get my stupid...
No problem, Glenn!
I'm getting in touch with a friend in Sweden that goes from ZBrush to Modo pretty much on a daily basis. I'm sure he can point the way for me. I'm just going to put it on the...
No luck in Modo with the Artifact.
I can get the 88k model in, but it's all tri's - so I can't select it as other than an 'Item'.
Can't get any of the maps out of SP to affect the model. Not...
I'd go full-res and see what happens first! According to the guys @ Allegorithmic, it's my ancient GPU on the Mac that's causing the problems.
I doubt very much if you'll run into it. Or just go...
Looking good, megacal!
I'm sure SP won't crash YOUR system. ;)
@lensman
I'm sure it's not an actual building (even in your subconscious) from Outland, but just reminded me of the movie for some odd reason. Maybe the blocky structure of it or something. At any...
Great work in that final!
I'm really glad you had 'a blast' doing the tutorials! I had a great time doing them! Most fun I've had in quite some time - even WITH all the computer problems.
...
@lensman:
Very cool! Love that 'building'! Reminds me of something from 'Outland' for some reason.
You're not one of E.E.'Doc' Smith's 'Lensman' are you? ;)
