Great Brush! Thanks ever so much.
Couldn't attend the webinar but am really looking forward to it being on You Tube. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the YT version of the Modeler webinar and having it on YT allowed me to go over points...
Will contact you via pm.
Thanks
I found that ZBrush 4R7 has a new patch (No. 3) and so I've installed that. I'm still trying to work in the 64 bit version for Mac but keep getting the same error message listed in the above post....
I installed marcus_civis's Pixols to 3D plugin into the ZPlugs64 Folder in the Startup Directory of ZBrush 4R7 with patch 2 for the Mac. Been excitedly looking forward to trying it out after seeing...

Sorry, the "Download" button on my query above is only a part of a screen grab of the original post I was asking about. It's not connected to anything.
The original post in this thread...
Way back in 2012 Mahlikus the Black in post 44 to this thread shared a brush with low poly primitives for transpose modeling as follows:

I downloaded the file and tried to use it...
I'm having the same problem. Can't find the video.
Roland,
Thanks for the script. It was great. I am constantly amazed at how neat ZBrush really is.
Thanks again.
Brian
Roland,
OK Mr. Showoff how did you get those really neat spikes and doodads on the sphere in Zbrush?

Thanks for the Z3 Simulation material. It looks great. I especially like the Z4 variant.

[QUOTE=lemonnado]You're welcome. Also check out the mostly unnoticed Draw -> Channels -> Z-Tolerance slider. Together with the ability to lock the brush into a Z-Plane with the right Picker setting...
Frenchy, that spore game looks great. Thanks for pointing it out.
Lemo, I agree Shroom has some great tuts I've recently been checking out his Zsphere tuts. Still amazed at your Zeeble thread.

Frenchy,
I already have Sketchup Pro. I'm just trying to see if there is a "simple" modeler similar to the one in Second Life.
BTW I've enjoyed all of your contributions over the years.
Lemo,
I don't really want to transfer anything into Second Life, I just enjoyed seeing how they constructed the guitar. The 3D software looked simple and quick and I thought it would be fun to...
I have not subscribed to Second Life but a few weeks ago I was looking at their website and there was a video prepared by some members which featured a pretty nice piece of guitar music and while the...
I hope, hope, hope I'm wrong but for some reason the careful wording of this invitation leads me to beleive that Zbrush 2.5 is not going to be announced at Siggraph. Sounds like a bit more may be...
Lemonado, about five days ago, in this thread you showed a sphere with an incredible amount of text on it. How did you achieve that incredible clarity. No matter how much I subdivide or play around...
Fantastic work guys. Love the script and the movie.
This has got to be the best user group in CG.
Brian
I think I'm going to cry.
Looks like more previews but no announcement of the availability of a new version.
Come on guys, give us some new toys NOW!
Please.
Pretty please.
Bas Mazur,
I've been having exactly the same problems and have found no way to lighten the color once it has darkened. Thanks for the tip on using the alpha brush though instead of the eraser...
Looks great Yoogy.
How did you get the neat zigzag modelling wrapped around the sides?
Brian
Fantastic tips here.
After playing with everyone's suggestions here's the sequence of steps I found works pretty well and it avoids affecting both sides of the object.
1. While in edit mode...
This is a real fun picture. Enjoyed it.
Aminuts,
Your technique works great. I found the white layer underneath and reduced opacity especially helpful.
Thanks.
