Seems like a great release, really liking the new poly tools.
The Curve Standard brush seems to be broken though, it no longer pulls out the geometry, when you click and drag now it just moves the...
Thanks for the explanation! I'm trying to get a system working for getting hair from ZBrush to Maya nHair at the moment and I'm starting to get good results but there's a bit of a learning curve (no...
Thanks Santis!

Learning how to use Fibermesh for creating hairstyles for characters. Wow I love this tool, cranked all of these out in less than an hour :D
The head model is one of the iAnimate characters.

Amazing work! Really nice model and render. Curious to know how did you go from poly hair to rendered hair?
Cheers,
Brian
Thanks, that's very impressive! I think I'm going to have to try your method!

Brian
Amazing work again, I'm guessing this is the same method you showed in your Youtube video? How much time roughly did this take? I'm still fighting with Fibermesh here and getting almost what I want...
Thanks, I guess you could select edge loops then and convert to curves if you wanted to add dynamics. Good to know, thanks again!

Hey thanks Andrei, thanks so much for that link, very clever method! I'd never have thought of that. I guess though there's no way to export that as curves then to something like Maya for doing hair...
Fantastic model and hair. Do you have any tips on getting that level of control over Fibermesh? I'm making first steps with it here and mainly using Move, Groom Long and Groom Magnet (and polygroups...
Very nice! Great job on the hair on the minion, fibermesh?
Cheers,

Awesome model. I feel some specularity in the renders would help add more life to him though, particularly his eyes and skin.

Brian
Great work! Recognized him from the thumbnail :)

Wow.
Amazing work. Did you use Fibermesh for the fur?
Cheers,
Brian
About time I got this started again. Not ZBrushing very much for a while but doing a good bit of drawing. Back to ZBRush now to see if that's helping any :)

Hi I have a need for a high quality T-Rex model, ideally with a solid low to medium res base mesh with good topology for deformation (I'll be rigging and animating it and applying muscle simulation...
Mickey smash!
Very funny concept and nicely done, are you going to paint him?
Cheers,
Brian
Sweet! All he might need now is some slobber coming off his tongue :)
Cheers,
Brian
Thanks for the tip, totally makes sense to do it that way, much more accurate than trying to paint them by hand! I'll try that on my model too.
Cheers,
Brian
Very nice! Really love that movie.
I have a model of Lord Barkis I started a while ago and need to finish at some stage. I'm curious how you handled the stripes on his pants, did you paint those in...
Very cool model and render! The only thing I don't like is his feet/shoes. Maybe it's just the pose but because they are pointy and the heels are off the ground it seems almost like he is wearing...
Heh, heh, very nice!

Awesome! Love how defined and pushed the forms are. I'm not familiar with the source but the main thing that stands out to me is the way the eyes look kind of milky ? Maybe it's deliberate but it...
Wow. He is the danger. Fantastic work.
