Default Dinosaur (step by step added on page 1 today)

It could easily be a tiger of late Cretaceous, Carnotaurus Sastrei.

Evaporation of humidity and the rain that fell on it's back is caused by the body heath.
Big prethistoric forest areas have very unstable weather, and are constantly watered.

I dont like to think of dinosaurs as cold bloded, slowly moving excuses for living beings, instead, In my mind, they are agile, fast, active warmbloded animals.

Such is this Carnotaurus, who stoped briefly to listen arround, before moving on trough thick vegetation of this prethistoric jungle.

Image composited out of few photographs , Zbrush model and some paintover job.

    Recent model in another composition.
    Hope you like it.
    C&C welcomed.

Default I second that.. Bryan Wynia

    A i r,

Very nicely finished dino pic. Very vibrant colors and lighting combined with the vegetation and dino shapes makes for some nice things happening compositionally. The dino design somewhat reminds me of the Disney movie "Dinosaur" in regards to its contour shape. The dino details give a really sweet overall reptilian feel. Another well done piece, keep em coming!

    WOW.

Bryan Wynia_thx man_ The collor was the hardest part for me here.

AngelJ_thx ,, I like how you putted this sentence, "the vegetation and dino shapes makes for some nice things happening compositionally"

SolidSnakexxx_the fact I have spend so much time thinking about color was obviously well spended time.

    Lil'sister_ thx for kind comments.

x-titan_Dinosaurs are one thign that clinched me and never let go.
Robots, aliens, vehicles, or anything else, are things I sometimes get inspired by, but dinosaurs never fade.

jantim_ Dinosaur was rendered in zbrush, and tweaked in photoshop.

I rendered 4 outputs with different matCaps in zbrush, and then, have composited in photoshop , with different overlay effect's.
For the top layer, I added lastic wrap, then tweaked it, making it look wet.
Although, It's not as obious as in the original image size.

Thx for your time all of you guys!!
