    Default Stan Winston Tribute

I finished today my entries for the Stan Winston Tribute Challenge at CGSociety. It was a lot of fun and a bit of work to get all done in time but I was able to "finish" 3 out of 4 models I started. It never looks as good as I wanted to and I already notice lots of problems with the models but I had to finish them before the deadline today. For a complete coverage of the process, with much more images, please visit:

Stan caricature (based on Sebastian Krueger's painting):

    Pumpkinhead:

All base meshes built in Maya, imported into Zbrush for quick sculpt, reimported in Maya for retopology and back to ZBrush for detailing and poly paint. Everything is poly painted and no images were used on the process.

    I hope you like it,
    -Kris

Fantastic work! I still haven't pumpkinhead the movie, I hear its great. I do find the reflection in the trex a little to intense though, it covers up that sweet iris you have going there.

I would love to see that bust RP'd and made as a collector piece. Especially in the laughing pose. I would definitely buy it. It catches the man I saw in interviews so well.
Simply a great piece of work.
