Here are some other non work related images I've worked on recently. Most of this stuff is for our work Art blog where we just pick a topic and have some fun with it. We are currently trying to finish up our latest game Orcs Must Die, so hopefully after that is completed i'll be able to find some more time to play with ZBrush. Hope you enjoy!

I like you toon'ish style, how do you get that toon color look? I guess it's just skill, but do you have any tricks to achieve this?

Agger: Thanks and as far as getting a toon'ish style in my work, I try not to overwork the models with too much detail (which is very easy to do in zbrush) and then i mostly just us 2 colors per material when painting on them.

    Masocha: Thanks man!

    Bassmanie: Appreciate it!

michalis: Thanks bro, I had a lot fun making that one!

Cmoffitt: I know it took me long enough, now i just need to find the time to keep these little projects going. Thanks for all your help, it makes learning zbrush 1millionX better when you have someone 10 feet away that knows the answer

Urchinator: Sweet man glad you like that one. Yes we do have an art blog going at work you can sort of follow here. Lots of stuff mixed in but pretty easy to find all the art theme posts. Hope you enjoy!

    Default Orcs Must Die!

Work related stuff here from Orcs Must Die!

I got started on the project helping create some of the architectural assets needed to create the levels for the game and then I slowly transitioned into creating the actual geometry for the levels and lighting them. Here are some images from the game along with a cluster of zbursh assets used in the level creation. Some of these shots are from the game editor so you'll notice blue globes on some floors, those are Orc/horde pathing nodes placed in the levels by the designers.

Anyway check the game out on Steam, XBLA or OnLive, it's a blast!!
