Default Deep Space Suit Zbrush Pass.

Greetings! So got the time to finish this one up, it was made in 3ds Max, as you can see the picture below is a screen show in max. Then taken over to zbrush where I had so many sub tools that I lost count.
In total it was all 55million polygons. Which i think I pushed it to the max with Zbrush, I have 12 gig of ram and I can see zbrush using 3.5 gig. Whoaa! but next time I think I will use HD instead. Will post when I have time the full front shot.

    Default Composite Breakdown

Break Down of my work flow, I think you can do ANYTHING with zbrush, even in render. but this is just my "tast" of presenting my work. Not to mention Im influenced a lot by many other great great artists. COFFE!

Ah this project ate up my ram and pushed zbrush to many many polygons, it was FUN! But, I think now I will do something more ....organic. =)

I think people still dont understand that withing Zbrush 4 , you "light" with the materials themselves, also by combining render outputs in Post. But I hope my Mas help =) . My shadow settings (which are imprtant) are set on Strength .85, Rays 60, Angle 5 to 20 works well, Res 1000, Blur 0, VDepth -1, LDepth -2..but the last two setting you should mess around with to see what loks best for "your" model. Hope this makes sense.
Im addicted to zbrush recently!!!!! Now I have reach to that level where I am like a little kid, eyes wide open, biting my tongue as I sculpt and sculpt.
This is the whole point right? To be FUN!!!!

Nice tuto, thanks for sharing. Your technique for doing body parts with splines looks much more intuitive and fast than standard box modeling, I'll have to give it a go sometime.
