The leather textures on the tree-man really pop, well done. seeing that you placed him in a real scene instead of just a backplate makes all the difference, im your 1st 5 star.

I especially like Radice. Very original concept. Besides, I’m a sucker for dead trees.
Radice is fantastic. Could you explain your detailing and texturing process on him a little please? That would be much appreciated.

Before scrolling down I was thinking “Looking good”, scrolling more “Looking great” and when i’d seen the whole picture I had no more words to describe the awesomeness.

Here some of the process:
For the leather textures - Some of it was sculpted and the rest of it is:
Difuse - MODO’s procedurals used to mask diferent materias and blending modes.
Bump - MODO’s procedurals
For the Cloth - Tile texture maps for Difuse and bump and procedurals for some dirt effects
For the ropes - tile textures i’ve made for difuse and displacement
