Remind me not to neglect my sketchbook for years again D:

I'll post more of my étrange series a bit later. Here's a likeness study I've been working on. Here's a B&W version, working on my skin shader.

I hate linking to other websites since ZBC holds a special place in my heart, but I have super duper hi-res images of this project on my artstation here:

    Let there be color!

    Some ZBrush screengrabs:

As you can tell, most of the work was actually done in Zbrush! I love the way Zbrush has been able to handle a displacement and texture workflow. It's made things really simple to go from zbrush->photoshop->maya etc.

Really like this render, it feels so peaceful and yet so disturbing at the same time, like something out of brave new world.

@pangea Thank you! That's a bit of what I wanted to achieve with the softer pastel feel to it.

    Here's some more..

and some topology. this is the start of the skin shader without any texturing:

Some more experimentation here. Done in zbrush from start to finish, other than the final render.

I find the yadda yadda yadda most intriguing , but your new piece even more so.
I am here although my physician forbids me from working.

    All the best,
    Boozy
