    Default Earth Battery

I think this one tells the story better.....

I didn't quite have an Ipod charger in mind, more of a giant battery storing up life energy.....
Hopefully Alien Overloards would have something a litle more advanced than an Ipod....L.O.L.
But Hey thanks for checking out my thread.......

the horse looks great :-) ... but why carved ? woodcarvings have quite a different surface (when carved classcially with chisels etc), either high polished (when sanded) or a "chiseled" look consisting of facetes, flat and slightly bend facetes... ;-) ... anyway the model is wonderful.

@ kokoro After looking at some of your wood carvings I see what you mean about the planes and edges.....
I was looking at my horse and the texture just reminded me of a wood like surface and thats how it became a wood carving..
I appreciate your visit and I'm glad you liked my little effort....Deke

Great job on that horse with the FiberMesh mane and tail Deke...It's just a standout image...that stands on it's own merits....Luv the combination of the sculpted feeling of the horse combined with the free flowing and natural feel of the mane and tail...Just something about it reminds me maybe of what Degas did in a sculpture of a young ballerina dancer that he made...put real cloths on the sculpture...made it totally unique..especally at the time when he did it..All the critics hated it then...now they all love it...Just goes to show you...LOL criticS WHAT DO THEY KNOW

Anyway Deke...Keep up the great progress and work..
