so this comes direct from Kinect 3d scans or is just inspired by them?

great image btw. I'd love to see a turntable of this to really appreciate it.

    HI
magbhitu : I used Reconstructme.net to do the scan and put it all together inside Zbrush :-) reconstructme sdk is amazing

Wait, is that a 3d scan or a manual sculpt ?;f
And im not sure about the underwater theme, seems like a very boring background.

    Holy cow!
    This is great stuff!!!!
I disagree with Slocik on the background its rather nice in my opinion (Sorry about that Slocik).
Also your UI in ZBrush is great! I love it!
    nope...
I don't know what I'm doing but I'm doing it anyway.

slocik: HI, build my xbox kinect into 3d scanner with the use of reconstructme SDK, there is a lot of noise in the mesh but with the help of zbrush a could make a sculpt:-)
MealeaYing: thanks man!...put some ekstra time into creating a UI for my workflow :-)

    Update

Did some Pshop color correction just watched City of Lost Children(Frek'in Awesome Movie!!!Seen it maybe 10 times)

Fractal to voxel to zbrush mesh to 3ds max render PART 1
    + PART 2

really could not get my hands down, when I discovered that it was possible to export a mathematical fractal to a voxel representation
and further on to a obj mesh, so i did a little bit of study and made my own fractal obj :-= video in 2 parts

Oh man....your 3d scans got me super jazzed to try that with my kinect. I started doing a little research. Did you use "ReconstructMe" for the software? open source?

I dig all the experimenting your doing!!

I like your elegant use of fractals in your works......

Real nice work at the link....I use xenoDream1.5 and also mandelbulber 3d and whatever structures I can find to turn into 3d.
I am glad you liked my efforts...there is a lot of math involved which can be a real pain, but once you make a formula its real easy to continue mutating it.
It helps to model it more in Zbrush and use some displacement or noise maps Deke
