    Fibermesh already has simple uvs on them which allow you to use a texture within Zbrush. If you export out as an obj or use GoZ to transfer between applications, you can easily add the same texture to them in your 3d app.

    Could you explain more about this workflow? im stuck with the fibermesh export curves workflow, I export in .obj but doesnt works in 3ds max and Maya, and .ma works in Maya but the problem is i need in .obj because i use 3ds max (obj) and not Maya (.obj/.ma). I tried export with Tool>Export but i get a high polycount that my computer/max can handle it.
