I am finished with RBT-RBT 77! I hope you all like it. Fully modeled/sculpted in Zbrush and rendered in V-Ray for Modo. I used the new project primitive, sculptris pro, and booleans a ton. I think I might make a tutorial on it, if there is any interest.

I would be really interested in a tutorial for this, gumroad?
Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. I'll put something together after I get past these next two weeks.

I made another version of my RBT-RBT 77. I wanted to try out the new Octane 4 on my machine. It's still all Zbrush, with overpaint/post-work in Photoshop.

Hey David
Awesome piece. Do you have some ZBrush renders you can share? Any breakdowns?
Hey, Paul. Thanks so much! Yes, I have a couple of screenshots, that at least show how many booleans I was using. This doesn't show the gun booleans. My file was getting a little hard to handle in terms of management, so I worked on the gun in a separate file. My subtool number, including the gun was insane. I don't have anything process related atm, but I will make some though.

Just doing some pretty quick work to get ready for the Zbrush Summit. I'm trying out some new ideas for speed. Using Octane 4.

I think I am done with this one mostly Zbrush with some Fusion for the background pieces, rendered in Keyshot, with post work in Photoshop. If you have any questions let me know.

This is a full ZBrush sculpt. I am trying to walk the line between mechanical hard surface and something that feels somewhat like a hard organic surface with a procedural looking patterning on it. I am trying to figure out some better ways to make patterns across the surface in ZBrush. I hope to have a video out soon showing how I did this.
If you want to check it out on ArtStation it's here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/0XzV1y
Thanks!

I really like the patterning. I'm trying to guess how they were made.... with umm.. array mesh and a primitive triangle shape and Zmodeler brush? Thats all I got... Cool work!
Eddie: I'm so sorry I missed this response. I have been meaning to record a video, but I keep getting side tracked. I'll post something soon. It's actually easier for me to post a video or image than it is to describe. It's not hard, there are just a few steps.
