    Default My first claycatures

    Hello everybody!
This is my very first post. I'm very glad to be here, in ZBC, with so many people that I admire...
I would like to share my latests ZB works. I call them claycatures. Not difficult to see why
My workflow is very very simple:
    1.-Dynamesh sculpt
    2.-Decimation Master
3.-Export as an .obj to Blender
    4.-Render with cycles render.
    5.-Some post in Photoshop
6.-I put them on my blog & portfolio
Critics and comments are welcome. Sure they will help me to become a better artist.

Let me introduce them to you:

    Abraham Lincoln

    Lou Reed

    Quentin Tarantino

    Sammy Davis, Jr

    Luis Garcia Berlanga

Love Quentin sculpt. Even if most of his face is almost hidden, he's instantly recognizable. Keep it up.

Haha, love the simplicity of them!
Not only the fact that you have rendered them out like clay doodles, but the quality of the sculpt goes perfectly with that visual feel. Now, lets see some stop motion!

Thank you Xenoo, Jake and Santis for your kind words!
Santis: I would like to do some animation with them. But now I'm just focusing on modeling more "claycatures". So, maybe in the future.
At the moment, just a clay turntable
