Well I know what I’ll be watching tonight!!! Thanks, these are great!!!

Wow…these are great!!

Tanks Joseph! awesome!!:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

Thanks for these! However I have a question - why aren’t you using slice curve in the first video? It’s more precise and quite faster than method presented here. Also the masking before hitting ctrl+w is quite unnecessary, works witout it as well.

Why do you not include a download button or option so that we can watch them offline which is what I like to do?

I mean - if you put them up on the web for free then that is an obvious thing to do.

awesome tutorial , haven’t used panel loops yet, but after watching this, I don’t think i’ll have a problem figuring it out. loved the polish by features, those sort of functions are the ones I forget and i’d spend so much time trying to fix stuff manually.

as for downloading the videos, zsoka :

http://zclassroom.s3.amazonaws.com/homeroom/lessons/videos/panel-loops/jd-jewelry-design-4.f4v
http://zclassroom.s3.amazonaws.com/homeroom/lessons/videos/panel-loops/jd-jewelry-design-5.f4v

play with vlc player

Zsoka you could always do the following:

1). Play the movie and let the orange bar finish. Stop the movie, don’t let it finish.
2). In Internet Explorer, click on Tools>Internet Options>Settings (The Settings button next to Delete…)
3). Click View files - This will open your Temporary Internet Files folder. If you know how to get to this folder without doing the above great.
4). if you change your view to Details and list them by size, you should find your video at the top. copy and paste this to another folder. I think they are in .f4v format. So you can convert if necessary.

Voila. Hope that helps

amazing !!! :+1: thx

There are quite a few video download managers (Fast Video DLM, Any Video, 1 Click Video Download, etc). All free. Install, play video, click popup, dl video and enjoy offline

That’s the way I do it

Thanx but I know all that. In fact I used gotflash to do it. It is a firefox extension. Much easier.
Anyway, the point is why they do not add a download button for us. It would be the courteous and intelligent thing to do. I mean they are in the business of communication are they not?
But thanx anyway.

Thanks again!

wow,zbc always brings us surprises!!Thanks so much!
Mr. Drust is great!

Thanks man, Panel loops + Jewelry design what a luck day

Thank you soooo much!
 :+1:

This is the second time I had your such wonderful tutorial on ZBC while I was in need. This is absolute perfect timing… thanks for such wonderful tutorial  :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

A big thanks all the way from Carrboro, NC!

It’s really nice to see some jewelry tutorials on ZBC and it’s even better when they’re coming from just down the road.

Had a quick question about this workflow: Is there a workaround to not mess up your panel loops by dynameshing? Whenever I dynamesh after panel loops the mesh gets destroyed…
