    Default Embers

Hi, so i produced Embers to really try and push myself and learn as much as possible... Mission accomplished. There's a theme of balance & contrast, both in colour & composition, but also with the subject material (pretty/ugly, organic/mechanical). It was fun but it was also tough. i decided to blog my progress if anyone's interested (people just starting out might even find it useful?):

and there's also a high res here (really tried to get a decent level of detail into it):

The rendering was done in Maya & Vray

    Cheers

    Hey Mullet,

I read your whole blog which I thought was very inspirational. This work is great and your journey through it just as interesting.

Congrats for not giving up. That was one hell of a project !

Thank you for the kind comments : )

@Ouran - Thanks, I'm really glad i decided to do the blog, it really helped me be a bit more critical of my work and move it on. Seems like quite a few folk do this now...
