In honor of the 75th anniversary of the man of steel, I sculpted him. This is also my first completed sculpture of a human figure (first sculpture was a dragon of course).

On another superhero note, I am working on spiderman.... I am trying to figure out the best way to sculpt the webbing that runs around his head and body-- any ideas? I tried quite unsuccessfully many things, such as basic standard tool (couldn't get straight enough lines, looked horrible) , mask- extract (after spending nearly an hour masking a web across his entire body, the extract button just created a messed up mass of loose planes rather than web like strings)... mask- move topology (seemed promising but the too many jagged lines even though the resolution was in the 7th division)... I'm about to try zspheres to see how that works out... ?
