    Default Thor tribute

    Hello, just posting some new tests.
    This is a tribute to Esad Ribic and Jason Aarons Thor, which inspired me a lot for the things to come.

    Luxo.

    Awesome. It took my a while to realize it was a 3D render and not a hand drawing. Then I thought, this must be Luxo's work and then I saw your name. Super cool as always. I'm a big fan of your work and really enjoyed your Hercule BD. Did you do any post retouching for the line art in photoshop or is this just your toon shading render. Anyhow it looks absolutely amazing. We want more!!!

    I ll try too post some wip when I can. I have a lot of work these days I shouldnt even be doing Thor.

    @Ruso Yes I did add some handrawn lines to make it loo more natural but it take like 10 minutes of work.
    @brian20 Yes brian I do fix deformation. In this case the most work was the inside of the biceps.

    I do use very similar matcaps to this;

    Great job by M4T30.8 by the way.
    I guess lll use them next time.

    For the hair I did a base mesh in maya. I used standard brush with alpha 54 and then in STROKE put roll distance to the max.

    don't worry it is not a problem.
    my suggestion would be you take your model and make a snapshot of all the mat caps from M4T30.8
    and composite those with strokes only with multiply.

    maybe you can post something and I can guide you from there

    Ok that would be great if you would be so kind
    I'll post something soon

    could you clarify what you mean by " strokes only"? I know you mean ps multiply layers just not sure about "strokes only"

    thank you very much for your guidance Luxo
