Hi, I am working on a demon sculpt to enhance my sculpting skills. I am creating this model for submission in contest “3D Game Model Challenge from CG Traders”. I am a beginner hence i have no idea how to get into 50,000 polygon limit. Your critiques, comments and suggestions would be very helpful for me to enhance my model for making a good submission.
You have to re-ptopology it and then project the texture. You could also (Its faster and easier) use decimation master and reduce polycount without reducing detail. I strongly suggest you uv it and export all textures before you do so and apply the textures after you do so. this way you retain detail without the polycount.
Decimation master is available with zbrush and i am sure there’s a tutorial somewhere out there.
