Great idea! You might've already run across this, but if you're looking to use a darker color palette, the maroon clownfish looks like an evil version of the "nemo" type. I'm excited to see what you have in mind!

This is a nice sculpt and interesting design of an "evil clown face" you've got going on there.

However, it doesn't really reference the source material for me. "Evil clown" is a fairly standard archetype, Pennywise is a specific character in a movie. At this stage, it reads slightly more "Joker" than Pennywise to me. I've no idea if this is important in the judging, and don't think the contest is about perfect likenesses by any means. Lots of room for stylism. However, my instinct says it should recognizably reference Tim Curry's character slightly more than I think I'm seeing at this stage, otherwise what's the point in basing the submissions on specific movies, rather than stock archetypes like "vampire", "werewolf", "witch" , etc ?

It's possible there's a scene in the movie this face bears a closer resemblance to. I confess I've never sat through the entire thing.

This is just my take. And like I said, it's a nice sculpt so far.

One of the best concepts in my opinion.
And I dont think its necessary to make it look like Tim Curry, Id hope the judges would reward an original design as much as a likeness to an actor.
    Nice work
