Sean-Ray - MPC - Vincent Van Gogh 3D Scuplt of The Sunflower Painting

Vincent Van Gogh’s, Sunflower

I had to turn Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflower painting into 3D, it was going to be 3D printed and the cast into bronze and then set up in an art exhibition called “Transforming” by Rob and Nick Carter, it’s on display until 2 November at The Fine Art Society on New Bond Street in London. (if anyone in London fancys going)

I had to sculpt and learn vincent van gogh technique and then come up with a key and slot system so all the flowers could slot into the vase and be in the exact same position as the painting. this was a new experience for me and I loved it !

Heres some renders of what I sculpted and I shall post some real pics of the bronze sculpture soon

Thats very original. And very well done!
I ask myself what Van Gogh thought when hes was painting he sunflowers. Something like: hmm shot yellow is finish and no one want to buy my paintings.
