    Killer. I really love this.

What if he had a tattoo across his chest with a quote from Frankenstein? Shouldn't be hard to do at this time and might add a bit. Hard to beat this one methinks.

    Thx for the comments!

@markrulz I was thinking to give him a japanese tattoo but I think I might change that as I am going with the Frank and Stein concept.
I might scribble some note on him saying "Frank" or "Stein".
Or some other quotes about the union. In french you have : "l'union fait la force" (the union stands strong)
"One for all, all for one" referring to the different body parts.
I am not sure yet or I might still go for the Japanese tattoo but have a spongebob zombie in it .

Here is a turntable of the polypaint. There are still some stuff to change though.
The wave is see through for the moment this is something that will not be. I wanted to test see through stuff but i didn't fit the stylisation of the wave.
I'll have to reduce the polycount cause my computer can't handle it anymore.

I have really been enjoying the progression of your entry. He has such a great style but I wish he had more facial expression... He does not look like he is enjoying the ride very much.

I wonder if you could push it just a little.

    Either way he Looking AWESOME!.

I am looking forward to seeing the final.

    @duncan
Well I get what you mean with the expression however he isn't meant to be so outspoken happy about it. It doesn't fit the character I am after. He is happy thought but he has a subtle smile.
I did make me doubt and I might try it in the end, if there is still time, just to make sure.

I personally like the subtlety in the expression anything more would ruin it for me.

I totally get what you're going for, great great stuff.

    THX guys!

Today I worked on the coffin-board. I wanted the different pieces of wood to be really different one from eachother so I knew I had to separete them some how.
I started from the dynamesh I sculpted before and cut in into different pieces using the slice curve brush.
This creates polygroups. When I isolate select one polygroup by clicking on it using shift ctrl I can separate it from the other one with split hidden function.
Then when I remesh this dynamesh it will close the hole created by the slicing. This I did for all the parts then I Zremeshed them all and projected the dynamesh info back on it.
Once this was done I merged them all together again. Then I used auto groups to create polygroups from the different pieces.
This I needed for the polypainting where I set the automasking by poygroups to 100 (image). Painting was mainly done with spotlight using different textures to create different pieces of wood.
Finally I got a font from dafont.com and made an alpha of it. And painted the "RIP" text on the top.

Next up will be the different pieces of metal in his body.
