Love the chair - if you got that prototyped I'd probably buy one for my house!

    Awesome work so far.

Thanks Foxtrot, I'm glad you're liking it so far.

Here are a couple more images of the progress.

I've been toying with a couple of ideas I could use some feedback on too.
    1. Should I make him stitching a scarf/stocking cloth or make it out of flesh and gross looking?
    2. Making him frustrated with a "Rubix Cube" or triumphant as he is solving it. (The lament puzzle box gave me the idea for that one)

Also, another thing about the base with the puzzle box I put in it...
I was thinking if it was a print, you could use real sand instead where I was sculpting it.

Anyways, let me know what you guys think.

I like the use of the puzzle box in the base - subtle but distinctive.

In terms of what he is knitting, I'd probably go with actual knitting because it would provide a better contrast with the rest of the piece, but that's just me. If the rest is going to have a limited palette (mostly monochrome) it could be quite a bright, colourful item. Maybe he is knitting himself a cute beanie hat, which would be ironic because he will snag and click the hell out of it as soon as he puts it on?

I like the chair design! I had something similar planned for my entry, before I curled up into a fetal position and gave up on it.

    Good luck!

Loving the details, it's really coming together! Watch out for your forearms and wrist region, I don't know how far you've worked them. They seem a bit long and bent abnormally, almost detached from the elbow. Keep it up!
