Thanks for the kind words Seavannah I guess we'll both be burning the midnight oil to finish up our pieces

Thanks satt I'm doing my best

Here are two test renders. I was going to make several smoke elements and composite them into the scene in photoshop, but I think it's more in the spirit of competition if I made all the smoke in 3D and composited it as one layer. I still might use individual elements to fill up some dead spots later. We'll see. Well, back to work

Added this one just cause it seemed cool

    Default Update

Hey guys, I've been busy slaving away, polypainting and figuring out how to render out the passes(I kept having to redo my work because I didn't exactly have a plan for how to render or composite the passes. But now I do and I should be able to finish and be happy with the result). I also added the soup now things make a little more sense

Wish me luck, cutting it close here :/

This one I just like the way it looks

    FINAL ENTRY

I think I'm calling this one done. I haven't slept all night .

I learned so much during these past two or so weeks. Nothing like a little friendly competition to push you forward. Some things I had to learn as I went along (fibermesh, lightcap, hard surface modeling in ZBrush, and noisemaker just to name a few), others, like organic modeling, I've had practice doing. I mainly used ZBrush for sculpting my imported models from Max, but this experience has made me change my entire workflow, for the better of course. With Dynamesh + ZRemesher + Clipping Brushes the sky's the limit! I love how ZBrush keeps pushing the limits of what's possible, and all within a single powerhouse of a software.

The ZBrush community was a huge support during this project. There are so many talented individuals and helpful too I wish everyone the best!
