    Default Sketchbook 2014 Andre Ferwerda

Hey everybody, After a long time of lurking and almost no posting I decided to make a "sketchbook" thread and show of the stuff I am going to create in 2014.

Starting the sketchbook thread with my entry for the Comicon Challenge this year, one of my favorite characters "Spawn" I am currently still exploring the style and silhouette. Here is one of the first test renders C&C more than welcome.

    Thanks

Nice!! I love the otherworldly gristle look you have going with the collar bone, and the sloping shoulders give a weary menace. In your color render i notice some stepping in the costume's pattern on the trunk. The mask looks awesome with the raised pattern. Why not continue with that motif and extrude the pattern on the trunk?

Thanks man. The color is just a quick paint over. I will be creating the raised patorn and ofc adding more and more details in the suit.

Trying out some armor on Spawn. It is more the classic spawn armor at the moment but can change not sure yet. Next going to work on more details in the suit/skin and a new idea for the cape..

A mate of mine made a very quick rough 3Dprint with my Spawn model. He wanted to see if the cape would print. Super awesome already, can't wait to see how it looks like high res.

    Default Glowing eyes

The glowing eyes, is that a material or rendered outside of ZBrush? Would you mind revealing your secrets on how to get the glowing eyes if it's a material or render setting in ZB?

    Fantastic work..
